Our steamboat for New Year celebration
Here I am again with updates on Day 4 in Istanbul. My posts are crawling like a snail, I know.
Anyways, with the same routine of breakfast in the morning, on that beautiful morning, we went to Grand Bazaar - which is the oldest and largest covered market place in the world. Amazing!
They sell a wide variety of things; from lights to clothes, souvenirs to shoes and spice to gold.

After spending the whole morning walking around, we took the tram to Olivium Shopping Mall. Here was where the shopping fun really began :)

With tired, drudging feet, we finally reached back to our Sultanahmet area just before dinner. As we walked from the tram station back to our hotel, we saw the breathtaking view of the Blue Mosque.
Hence, photos are snapped.
We went out to dine at a Chinese restaurant - which I was really happy about, because after days of the same type of Turkish food, I was not fully accustomed to their food yet >___<

YUMMY FOOD :) ..there's tofu, squid, beef etc.
With the jiggling full belly, we walked back to the hotel feeling satisfied. On the way, we came across a Turkish Sweet Shop.
And upon reaching the hotel, we walked past a night market and bought some oranges.

I was taking some photos, when all of a sudden, I heard a voice saying, "One photo, 5 Lira" (Lira = Turkish currency)
To my relief, it was only a passer-by joking with me.
The day ended with a game of rummy in the room before we went to bed and slept soundly.
