The Haunted Slumber Party
Wednesday, September 02, 2009
We had been planning a get-together ever since we came back from our semester break.
On Tuesday night, Angie and Rach came over to our flat, all pumped up for the "horror-filled" night we had planned ahead of us.
We started things off by getting the beds ready in the living room and snacks were all piled up ready to be eaten too. We played Hotel 626 first - a game recommended to me by a friend last year. I have played it three times, but I was still freaked out when I was playing alongside them. I wanted them to play it all - but I had to take over some levels as we were all too scared to do it and only I knew how to solve the levels. Hahaha.
Funny thing that occurred was when we were about to start the game - and it was playing its scary music, we had the lights turned off as well - I had forgotten to sign out of my Msn. So suddenly, the pop up window showed 'ghost has just signed in'. We were laughing soo much.. playing a horror game and seeing that "ghost" has just signed in? Too much of a coincidence.
[Even funnier still, for me, the Ghost person was the one who introduced the game to me!]

Look at the fear and seriousness in their faces!
After finishing the game, we had to take a toilet trip of all 5 of us together - because we were too scared to go by ourselves! Haha. After that, we decided to watch something light before beginning our horror movies. We watched half of 'Another Cinderella Story', which I have seen before, but it is still entertaining.
Then, we watched One Missed Call - Jap version.
Some parts were really scary. But some parts make no sense. I mean, why'd the main character go and hug the ghost, I have no idea why. I found scenes of the ghost kid really haunting though.
Finishing that, we decided to make avacado and honey facial masks - as I need the photos for Uniprint Photo Competition under the category of living together.

Here are my models - their reward? A soothing 7-star treatment of facial masks and relaxation.

Then, we realised it was getting pretty late, so we all went to sleep and woke up the next day at around 10am. Jenni and Rach made waffles for our brunch and following that, we watched another of the horror movie we wanted to see - Congkak - a Malay horror.
We didn't find it that scary either - only some scenes where the old lady suddenly appears from nowhere. ewwww..... but the whole movie makes no sense.

and that concludes our fun sleepover~
dinner time here i come now.
then... study study study... and maybe some criminal minds.
i wish this mid-sem break is longer!
but cant wait.
