The amazing scenery taken from the balcony of Gor's grandma's house, showing the lives of people living in the rural parts of HK. We had to take an approximately 30-min/1 hr (I've forgotten) bus ride to get there, and it was lovely to meet his grandma, though I wish I could have tried speaking to her in Cantonese. And we met their pet dog too! Aww too cute!
The view photographed by Coke, at the Causeway Bay beach when we had a bbq from lunch till late night, about 10pm. It's a breathtaking view, isn't it? The sea looks serene and the three figures on the beach [wilson, sarah, (and was his name ...Sam?)] were enjoying the breeze, waiting for soberness, hahaa.
Tsim Sha Tsui, as I was told, is the most shot-at location for the Hong Kong dramas! And I actually got to walk around it, taking lots of photos and even rode a ferry across to dine in a fine Korean Hot Pot Restaurant! This jaw-dropping photo was taken by Gor, without a tripod! I could not praise him enough, hahaha...
The six-a-group of us with our fun addition - Sarah (3rd from right) and Ginny (far right) = many great times together. They took us to ice-skating (many exclaimed: ice-skating in HK?!), many restaurants, the bbq and to Ocean Park. Sarah even took me to the 'bargain streets' where I bought a lot of good bargains, I have forgotten the name of the street though, ARGH. I only remember the Ladies' Market and Fa Yuen Street.
Yay, my proudest photograph, taken using Coke's α200 slr. Aww, he makes a good model, hahahha. And the backdrop shows the normal busy shopping streets of Mongkok in Kowloon, HK.
Waiting for the MTR at Causeway Bay after the late night bbq-ing. The MTR is really impressive, there is a light that lights up at the station where the train stops at, and also arrows showing in which direction it is travelling, on the map in the train. I can't explain it properly tho. Also, you can answer your handphone whilst travelling underground! Unlike that in London!!!
Out with Gor's friend Emily, and we went to take sticker photos, as I have blogged about before. This is the process of decorating them, those hands belonging to Emily, who's quite the expert at this!, and Gor respectively. It was so much fun to take the photo stickers, I was half addicted to the machines.
Now this is the awesome-st of all the awesome photos I have. This is drawn by Gor during our yumcha lunch with his grandma, a family friend and the whole group, including Sarah. It's so adorable! Photo is courtesy of Sarah, who like me, was really impressed! It took less than 15 minutes to draw this, I think, sorry if I recalled wrongly. But, easy enough to guess which is me? :)
Wanted to include this photo in. It looks deeeeeeelicious! Crepe, Strawberry cake, Fruits dipped in Choco in the Chocolate fountain, mango ice cream, sesame ice cream, fruit tarts... these are just some of the desserts available at our HKD300 buffet! Soooo worth it. There were so many food available, I was in awe when we stepped into the restaurant, which is actually in a hotel!Labels: brothers, friends, HK, holiday, memories, photos
