It was like any other friday nights, when I'm online till very late. This particular Friday, I was chatting to Coco, and it was very windy outside. Suddenly I heard the front door knocking. Eek. I told Coco, and he asked if i was not just imagining it. I thought to myself.. okay it was probably just the wind. We carried on chatting. I wondered if I should move to my room, because I was in the living room, with the lights all on.
A doorbell rang. "Crap." I found myself saying and typing to Coco at the same time. Voices could be heard. I tensed up.. I was sooo scared. What should I do??? Coco told me to wait till they stop and be careful. I crept towards the kitchen, and laid low, peeking past the door to the front door. I could make out a guy in a white shirt and tie. He continued to knock and ring the doorbell. I crept back to the living room, wondering what to do. I felt so stiff. I thought about turning off the lights but the guys might realise someone is still awake. Suddenly, mummy walked into the living room. She started whispering, there's someone at the door! I replied, I know, and by that time Ive turned off the lights in the living room, hoping the people dont notice. Mummy told me about her dream she just had, before being woken up. The dream was just like the situation we were in, about not letting the people outside know we are inside, and not opening the door. Shivers. That's creepy.
After about 10minutes whispering, I packed up all my things and took my laptop upstairs. By this time, the noises had died out. I turned off all lights and went to my room. Then, mummy came and told me that the guy (there was actually only one) is still in our front garden. We went to her bedroom, daddy was still sleeping, and we peeked out from the window. I had a good look at the guy, and he was swaying back and forth repeatedly. We heard more voices, and assumed that there are other people outside our gates talking to him. Then, what we saw.. was just a bit funny. He tried to hide. He went to the tree next to the gate. Kneeled, bent over. fell backwards into the bush. tries to get up... and so on...
I even tried to take a video, taking care to ensure that there is no light to attract his attention. But I think i was too scared, and he had walked towards the front door, so we couldn't see him from the window. Thus, the video didn't have him in it.
Mummy told me to go to sleep and lock my bedroom door. And I chatted to Ah Ning and Coco for another hour or so.. and I'm still not asleep yet. Thankfully I had the 2 of them to accompany me. I was darn scared. I think I scared Ah Ning as well, oops.. hehe.. But yeah.. fuu.. am currently listening to music and blogging, and still chatting to Coco. The fear is slowly dying out. I wonder if the guy is still there. When I was chatting to Ah Ning, I went downstairs once to see if he was still there. I saw him walk up towards the door and I quickly hid. I expected him to ring the doorbell, but he didn't. Then, I went to brush my teeth .. in the dark, and that was the fastest I've brushed. I think my teeth isn't clean enough.
Now I've locked myself in my room. Not too scared anymore. Coco just went to sleep. Everyone's asleep now, it's almost 4am. I'm doomed. Why? Pimples are going to sprout all over my face. This is the result of late nights. Okay okay, I'm going now..
Haiih.. so many things happening. If you read what i wrote 2 posts ago, then you'd agree.. see, more things happening at the same time. Again.
gohyie, nope, the next morning he's gone anyway so.. at least he didnt puke all over our garden, thankfully. but ergh. scary hahaa. i think i shall go online in my room from now on
hey...wah...kinda scary..i could imagine how it was like....good thing u all didnt open the door.. what was he trying to do?? maybe he needed a toilet?
What an adventure! Forgive me dear for calling it an adventure coz' your post really sounds like a detective-adventurous kind of story! Haha.. But, thank God you guys are all fine. I think that guy was just drunk and thought your house was his or smth? Hmph.. But, really.. It's really kind of creepy and imagine that happens to me! My gosh!!! Don't sleep too late next time. Sorry I wasn't there online because we were internet-less for a few days! Haha.. Take care girl!
ooops, sorry, i thought i mentioned at the start that the guy was drunk. i could immediately tell he was drunk because of the way he talked so loudly and swirly. plus, he was swaying back and forth :p
lynnwei: i don think i will open the door even if its not a drunk person, or a police, i'd be too scared haha.. just pretended everyone is asleep and forgot to turn off lights..
pyroboy: wats scary about a drunk guy is that he starts pestering you at 1-2 in the morn, and u never knw wat they'd do. veep did a speech abt yobs - and there were lots of news about drunk ppl getting violent and causing havoc, leading to many dangers, including murder. hows that for scary.
lingdi: yea, i agree that its an adventure indeed! creepy experience hehee.. and u don hv to apologise!! :D
lynnxjie: haha yea it was indeed a drunk person. but... whats a bipolar person??? :P
Haha, funny and scary at the same time. Drunk people always do stupid things and I hate drunk people. But I think as long as we ignore them, they won't do anything to you.
Better online upstairs ah, don't stay downstairs.
And trust pyroboy, you will def meet lots when you start uni.
sherp sherp sherp...u only met 1 and u already generalize drunk ppl are pesters? wrong! most of the time they are sprawled across the toilet bowl emptying their stomach contents, or lying on the corridors motionlessly :D
