Mr Latif played the penguin game, using a device placed on your ear and you move your head to move the penguin. it was sooo much fun!

really beautiful sculpture. I didn't check if it was real ice.

At exhibit 3 - The Perception Deception: maths made optical illusions where there is a big screen tv with a webcam :D

Exhibit 10 - Journey To The Centre of the Cell

After 2 hours of walking around the exhibitions, we then set off to Mr. Latif's godmother's restaurant for curry.

Overall, it was a really great day and I only got home at 11pm! It was an amazing experience to perform the surgery, removing gallbladder :) even though it is just a stimulation. I wasn't disgusted or afraid at all, but it was boiling inside the green coat thing. :P
We also had the chance to meet
Professor Stephen Hawking. It was a real honour. i didn't know at first of how well-known he is.
Current mood: restless
Currently listening to: Ivy talking on the phone about Harry Potter
Labels: chemistry, school trips

So fun that you actually performed a 'surgery'.. coolies!! I hope it builds up more faith and confidence towards the career you're about to embark on. Some more got makan makan and met Hawking? How did he speak? Through the machine?
-
haha.. hmm yea. I only got to stand next to him and didn't really know wat was going on at that moment. My chem teacher took a photo of him with some of my classmates. I noticed a few words on his machine so yea, he communicates to us using that. But i only saw him for a few minutes before they continued looking around. So didnt really get the chance to talk to him.
