Ciao. Bon journo. Ma Porco! Katso!
Yep, before you know it, I've become a fluent Italian speaker. Okay, that's a lie, but I do understand the rants and raves, the jokes and craves, the many different sayings and hand gestures. or... well, I'm halfway there.
I remember the first time I met my Italian friends - Isa was ushered in by Ms O'Shea to join the group of girls sitting at the corner of the hexagon area (or was it pentagon? Argh! I should have counted the sides like Emma told me to!). She sat next to me and I said hi. She replied hi. A smile. Silence. I asked her what subjects she would be taking and it was quite disappointing that we didn't have any subjects together, except Physics but she was placed in another set (so different classes). Nico then arrived and talked to Isa and we all got on well. Nico and Ricky are in my form class, and Andy is in my Physics class.
Things progress, friendships build, laughters arise, tears subside... and I cant believe the year has gone by so fast. Now they are leaving England.. (well, Andy left on Monday and Nico and Ricky left today)
I will miss them so much!! The corniest jokes Isa and I shared, the laughs Nico and I had, the discussions and high fives Ricky and I had, and the 'don't-fall-off-the-stool-as-you-lean-back-on-it' competition that Andy and I played.
