Hmm, perhaps 7/10 for courage, 10/10 for enjoyment. It was a blast!
Wednesday - Wilson, Keith and I went to Thorpe Park. Thanks to Wilson's brother - Wikki for driving us down, even though Wilson had insisted to drive there himself. ^^ We arrived about 9.47am, and queued up for the tickets, before realizing that since we had already bought the tickets online, we could have gone straight to another -shorter- queue to obtain the ticket and then straight in.
I could feel excitement bubbling inside of me, but at the same time, I was nervous because I didn't know what to anticipate. I had looked at the park map beforehand and the rides seemed too extreme for me - so my mind raced through the thoughts - will I be brave enough?

The park map -click to zoom-

Our first ride was Quantum - a seemingly "mild" ride

I still screamed. Ha-ha = well, the impact of the strong drops and lifts was a teeny bit scary

the ride next to Quantum - Rush. AAA!! It's scary!!!! thankfully we didn't go on it - truly apologetic to Wilson because he wanted to go on it *bahahaha*
Next, we went on the ride Zodiac, which I didn't manage to get a photo of. Basically, you get into a cage- door shut and locked, no seatbelt (I REPEAT: NO SEATBELT -I kept saying this over and over again to them - but but but... no seatbelt!!) and then kind of like a ferris wheel, you get swung around in a circle which ends up vertically, so you are hanging upside down in a cage. huh...... I shut my eyes the whole time, except at 1 point, where for a second or two, I opened my eyes, to find myself high above the ground. AAA!!! I didn't scream at all though at that time. haha.. when I got off, I felt so swirly, I couldn't even walk straight.
After that fun ride, *dun dun dun!!!!* (any credit for sound effect?) I was.... persuaded to go on Colossus. What's Colossus? It's the 10 looped rollercoaster. EEk! At first I was hesitant. And I remembered what Mummy said - Don't go on a ride if you don't want to. But, after thinking about the need to just have fun and the worth of the entrance fee, and hey, as Wilson, the super persuasive king, said "We all go together or we don't go at all" - I finally agreed to go. My heart was beating fast and I wonder how scary it was going to be. So I looked up and the rollercoaster...

At first, it treads up slowly......

and then the screams came..... first loop on the way...

and the rest were just a blur... a series of fast ups and downs

(this photo was taken by me after the ride, and I can tell you - I did not zoom this. I just stood there on the ground, and held the camera up)
Colossus was fun!! Yes, it was scary and I screamed (very very girlish-ly) all the way - until my mouth felt all parched. When we took a look at the camera shot of us on the rollercoaster - I couldn't help laughing out loud at my expression - sheer terror. Wilson and Keith looked like they were having the best time... well, I could hear laughs along the way - even as we hang upside down at the 360deg loop for a fraction of a second... *shakes head*
Anyway, that was a mouthful. Well, it was the "highlight" of the morning. I have to admit - it was exhilarating. :) After piling on the dizziness, we headed to Tidal Wave. But seeing the long queue, we only took photos.

Keith and Wilson (notice the 'boat' going up, in the background)

Keith and me (the boat still going........)

Me and Wilson (aha! finally - it lands with a splash)

Just a random photo taken of Thorpe Park

Then we decided to go win Eeyore! (well, Wilson decided..) Instead of winning the cute blue donkey, we each got a soft toy instead. I played a game 'Win Everytime' so even when i lost I still got a soft toy! Yay me! Although I really wanted the big big big bear...

This was another game which you play to win that big shark-like thing.

Next, we stormed into 'Storm in a Teacup' (ok, lame...) and got dizzy once more. Yep, we kept spinning and spinning and spinning....

After the moments of being tea, we sat down for a rest and took a few photos. Here's the soft toys we won. Well, the dalmatian was Keith's - you can kinda see my bear through the whole of the doggie bag.

I wanted to go on that Fantasy Fish ride at the back - but it wasnt open. btw, its a lil kids' ride haha

X/: NO WAY OUT - the rollercoaster ride in pitch black, and backwards. Uh huh.. and yet, I shut my eyes. in the dark. funny.

The queue to Rumba Rapids - finally - we are going to get wet!!

Rumba Rapids ride

Yup yup.. wet!! (cant really see that I'm wet, but I was soaked on one arm and all over my legs and shoes, and and and... Hair!)

That's Nemesis Inferno - a really scary rollercoaster where you hang - erm, I don't know how to explain. nevermind. It's scary full-stop. That's why I insisted "no - I'm not going on it!!!!" hehehe *grin*

After all that, we went to Burger King and had lunch

...and some photo sessions by Wilson.
After lunch..... these are some of the rides we didn't go on :-

Logger's Leap - I really wanted to go on it but the queue line stated - 99 min wait. No thanks.

The log they get to sit on for Logger's Leap. :( looks fun!!

AHA! here we go --^ wat's this??? STEALTH, that is. the tallest rollercoaster there. I 101% didn't want to go on it. It's fast, high, scary(again with this word) etc. yeah...

the people coming down. hehe.. apparently though, Colossus is scarier than this. But I still didnt have the courage to step onto the STEALTH

Nemesis Inferno from afar..

The view taken when we were queueing up for Depth Charge - which in the end, we couldn't go on because 1) it broke down so engineers came to solve it and after that, 2) too many people there

Merry-Go-Round, we didn't go on it either.

Samurai - ee.. looks... adventurous huh..

Vortex! Haha... this is the funniest one. I have to say, Wilson wanted to go on it but neither Keith nor I was particularly excited to be swung around in the air... we passed by Vortex for probably more than 5 times, with Wilson trying to convince us to go it. Haha.... nope. Didn't go on it. ^^

The Detonator~!! Reminds me of Ah Yuan koko, don't know why. I think it was a story I heard? Did he go on it in Brunei? hmm, anyways - yea, didn't go on this either. Swoop to the top then very very fast swoop down. Erm, again, no thanks.

Depth Charge from afar. see the queue?? aih.. wanted to go on it coz it looked so cool.

Ah yeah. I saved the best for last. Tidal Wave. We finally lined up for it and went up, came down and got soaked. It was AWESOME.

The BIG splash it made. when the water came down on us, it was like a giant bucket being poured over us. REALLY!!

So yep - we were soaked to the bones. and it was cold. But fun!! Fun enough to go on it the second time! and soaked again!! Hahaha~

The perfect timing(credit Wilson's photographic skills) of the splash of tidal wave.

then we went to warm ourselves with hot drinks - coz it was cold!!!

And then it was time to go. sad!! took pic with giant map :)

some more random photos ^^
Ahh.. it was an awesome day. I had so much fun. After Thorpe, we went to Wilson's shop then house and had scrumptious dinner, played SNAP and just hang around. Btw, listened to Jay too =D haha..
overall it was terrific.
