Back to school

First week back to school, it was an overwhelming and full-packed experience. On Tuesday, our first day back to school, we met new people, chatted about our holiday and was assigned to our classes. Before that, we listened to an-hour-long lecture about expectations of sixth formers (that's us!)
My form teacher is the Head of Maths, meaning I can easily ask him Maths questions I don't understand! =) We have 6 Lower Six students and about 7 Upper Six students in our form class. Luckily, I am not the only girl ^^
However, I
am the only girl in my Physics and Chemistry class. There's another girl in Maths and 4 of us in Biology. As for the difficulties of the subjects - I can only say : During my first lesson in Physics and Biology, I can only stare at the teacher blankly. They talk quite fast and I already found the topics hard. Sigh - i have to work really hard this year!!
I met some nice people, though we cant be classified as close enough to be good friends. There are some Italian students in our school, and they were really nice... they keep making me laugh! And there are the Upper Sixth Students who I met earlier this year whom are really nice to me, and I tend to hang out with them... probably during lunchtimes. Besides that.. I want to busy myself with extra-curricular activities. I need to be active outside academics too... I am considering Badminton Club (of course), SVP (St. Vincent de Paul Charity) which is really good - do stuff like open soup kitchen for the homeless... what else??? Will find out soon.
=) I think the week went okay, maybe better than I anticipated. But I hope the rest of the year would be better and I have to cope with this environment for 2 years!
I still prefer SHC...

Sherp, at least your teachers aren't like mine when I did my A Level. Some couldn't even speak proper english, what more to teach.. we had to self-learn everything, and man it wasn't easy to self learn, that's for sure.
