Where the train ends, your holiday begins…
Back from our 5-days-4-nights holiday in Paris, I browsed through the photos we took, wishing we were still there.
We started our journey early in the morning of August 27th, at 6am. We took the Metro train to Waterloo International Station to board the Eurostar Train. We stopped by Lille Europe in Brussels, Belgium before continuing to Marne-la-Vallee Chessy, which is just beside Disneyland Park. On the way there, Mum, Dad, Ivy and I played Ludo and it was one of the funniest times I’ve had. I ended up losing while Dad won the round, even though he was the last person to start. Then, we played ‘Blackjack’ and before long, we arrived, feeling very excited.

Our hotel – My Travel Explorer’s Hotel – is situated about 5-minutes bus ride away from Disneyland Park. We went to La Vallee Village to shop in the afternoon. It is a unique outlet shopping village where over 70 shops offer luxury labels in a charming open air environment. The clothes were quite expensive but hey, they are branded stuff, what can you expect? However, my parents bought 2 pairs of Timberland sandals for Jas and me. We had an early dinner at McDonalds ahead of returning to our hotel. We stopped by the Disney Village for a stroll though.

At that moment, Ivy and I were really looking forward to going to Disneyland the next day. My dad, Ivy and I went for a swim in the hotel pool. Ivy and I had lots of fun going down the long dragon slide!

We woke up at 6.45am and went to breakfast early. Today we were going to visit the famous sites in Paris. The weather was terrible – dark and gloomy~~ because it was raining quite heavily.
We took the RER train to Chatelet Les Halles, and the Metro train to Cite, to visit the Notre Dame.In front of Notre Dame
Only stopping for some time, we continued the outing on foot to Hotel de Ville and took the Metro to Palais Royal Station, to drop in on Musee Du Louvre.Musee Du LouvreNotice the triangle in the picture of the outside of Musee Du Louvre? This is the inside of it
Next, we rode to Bir Hakeim, to see the renowned Eiffel Tower!!

Lastly, we stopped at Charles de Gaulle Etoile to snap some photographs of Arc de Triomphe.Arc de Triomphe
After visiting those well-known places, we went to La Defense for lunch and some window-shopping and to La Fayette to shop our hearts out, except we didn’t spend any money… my eyes were just bulging out from looking at the prices.
We returned to Val d’Europe and went once again to the La Vallee Village. We had Chinese takeaway for dinner and relaxed in the hotel.La Vallee Shopping Centre
