Today, we woke up a bit later than usual, at around 8.40-ish am. We had our breakfast again at the restaurant, then got ready for our trip to the Jumeira Beach. Our complimentary ride brought us all the way there where we suddenly realised that there was probably nothing to do there. So, we took a taxi from there and went to one of the biggest mall – Ibn Battuta Mall – ‘6 malls in one destination!’ We didn’t do as much shopping as we did the day before but, shamefully, I will admit that I was the first person to buy something – a black dress which cost DHR99. [LaSenza Girl] We spent the rest of the time wandering around and finally bought an LCD TV/Comp which cost around DHR1500. Deciding there was nothing else to do there, we went back to the hotel. Dad, Ivy and I wanted to go for a swim but it was too cold, so instead we went for a steam. Then, we ate noodles before going out and walking in the nearby small malls. We returned after a while, had dinner… and Jas, Ivy and I watched ‘My Best Friend’s Wedding’ on TV. There wasn’t much left to do, so it was bedtime as we would have to wake up early the next day.

Jan 13th
Woke up at 4.50-ish to the sound of crowing cock – Jas’ cellphone alarm. We had some tea in the restaurant before setting off to the airport. Time definitely flies fast when you are having a good time and it was time to go home. Our flight was at 8.30am but delayed till around 9am. Once again, I had a great time playing ‘Scramble Dash’, joined by Jas and Ivy – with the help by Dad as well. I even managed to get to the top ten scores – with 2750 points out of the available (impossible) 4500. I was number 6.
